Live Nation Entertainment Inc., the largest US concert promoter and ticket seller, illegally monopolized the live events industry and overcharged fans, a New York federal jury concluded Wednesday.

Live Nation, the entertainment giant which owns Ticketmaster, has been illegally operating as a monopoly and overcharging fans, a federal jury has found.

It is worthy noting that one of the points the jury made today is that Live Nation was guilty of overcharging customers for tickets, to the tune of almost $2.00 a ticket for concerts and shows.
